FIRST STEM-HUB HAS APPEARED IN BELARUS

On January 14, in Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, a laboratory for engineering and technical creativity STEM-Hub has opened. Its uniqueness to Belarus lies in the fact that not only university students, but also high school students will have access to modern equipment. As part of the STEM-Hub, the School of Engineering Entrepreneurship will be launched, in which teams consisting of students of 1-2 courses and schoolchildren of 10-11 classes, under the guidance of experienced mentors, will solve engineering problems.

The STEM-Hub opening project is the result of a collaboration between Mastercard, the Association "Education for Future", and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

STEM-Hub laboratory is designed to become a place where a real working atmosphere prevails and there is everything necessary for schoolchildren and students to realize their own engineering ideas and continue to work on the most successful projects. Classes and master classes at STEM-Hub will be held by teachers of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technology of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, representatives of engineering companies and successful entrepreneurs.
