STEM-CENTER HAS BEEN OPENED IN PRUZHANY

On the 3rd of April the second Junior STEM-center has been opened in the State Educational Institution “Pruzhany Secondary School No. 1” (the first STEM-center has been created this year on the basis of Brest Secondary School No. 13). Junior STEM-centers help the youngest pupils — primary school pupils — to get acquainted with the world of modern information technologies.

The creation of a STEM-center in Pruzhany Secondary School No. 1 was encouraged thanks to the sponsorship from company WorkFusion. In addition, employees of the company personally came to Pruzhany to get acquainted with the schoolchildren who will study in new STEM-center. WorkFusion employees also conducted striking and useful career guidance presentations for senior pupils, talking about the company's activities and IT-professions.

In the STEM center children interested in information technologies and technical creativity will be free to learn Scratch-language and robotics on the base of LEGO Education WeDo from teachers who have received special training.
